Welcome to the Schoolyear AVD documentation. This website describes the details of the Schoolyear AVD product and provides you with guides and suggestions on how to make Schoolyear AVD work in your organisation.
Schoolyear AVD is an add-on to the Schoolyear Safe Exam Workspace product that enables you to integrate your own Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) infrastructure for use during exams. This allows educators to securely and flexibly take exams with desktop applications without the day-to-day involvement of an IT department.
After setup, the IT department only has to respond to errors in their infrastructure. They no longer have to operate the infrastructure themselves for each exam.
